Rumor: Next Fortnite Festival Concert Artist Leaked

Sabrina Carpenter may be the next Fortnite Festival concert artist, a well-known leaker has said. The pop star has already been collaborating with Fortnite since late 2024.

Developed by Epic’s Boston-based subsidiary Harmonix Music Systems, Fortnite Festival was originally launched in early December 2023. Since then, the rhythm game mode has hosted seasonal collaborations with popular artists and is now in its seventh season, which kicked off in January 2025.

Once Fortnite Festival’s ongoing Hatsune Miku collab comes to an end, Epic Games may partner on a new season with Sabrina Carpenter, XboxEra co-founder Nick “Shpeshal Nick” Baker reports. An unnamed source contacted him in August 2024, claiming that a Sabrina Carpenter festival is in the works, according to a screenshot of their conversation that Baker shared on January 27.

James Bond and Wrestlers Reportedly Coming to Fortnite As Well
The same source claimed that Epic is also working on adding a “bunch of wrestlers” along with wrestler-themed gear, speculating that this content drop “looks like a season.” They also stated that James Bond is coming to Fortnite but were unsure which version of the iconic agent will be featured. A James Bond collaboration has been rumored for Fortnite for some time, though nothing has materialized so far. While the jury is still out on the veracity of these claims, Baker himself has a solid track record with Fortnite leaks, having previously correctly predicted the game’s collaborations with The Boys and The Pirates of the Caribbean, among other popular franchises.

As for the rumored Sabrina Carpenter festival, such an event would mark a continuation of the pop star’s involvement in Epic’s hit game. Carpenter has previously received several Fortnite emotes, which were available for purchase between mid-October and early November 2024. Her songs Feather and Espresso were also added to the battle royale game’s list of Jam Tracks back in fall 2024. They are still available for purchase as of early 2025, priced at 500 V-Bucks each.

If Sabrina Carpenter is indeed the next Fortnite Festival concert artist, she should be added for the game’s eighth season, which is expected to kick off in June 2025. Since Epic isn’t in the habit of announcing new Fortnite Festival events months in advance, fans will likely have to remain patient for the next season’s official reveal. Based on the company’s track record, Fortnite Festival Season 8 will plausibly be announced in late spring 2025.
