The MMORPG Albion Online finally welcomes the Hector update with all its new features and major modifications before the official release of the game.
New in abundance, it is now, on the MMORPG Albion Online! The Hector update is now online and brings with it the latest major changes to the game before its release on July 17th. Discover all this in this new trailer:
Hector, Last Step Before The Release
Albion Online is currently in the final beta stage and is refining its gameplay before its official release scheduled for July 17, 2017. Hector is the last big update of the beta and will give the launch version of the game. July, only a few corrections of bugs and imbalances will be made.

Black Market
The Black Market and its rather shady merchant, settled in Caerleon, the central capital of Albion. The role of this new NPC is to buy items from the players in order to redistribute them to the mobs and chests of the game. The items gained in PvE by the players are therefore by this new system, also designed by these players. Thus the whole economy of the game is totally managed by the community.
The Black Market offers fluctuate and depend entirely on the number of mobs killed while taking care to respect the economic balance of Albion.
New Hellgates
It’s time to test the new Hellgates! With a complete overhaul, you can now browse the new map in pentagram form, get to know the minibosses and test the new mechanics.
The Hellgates are now accessible according to 3 levels of difficulty:
- Ashen Hellgates in green areas
- Ignited Hellgates in yellow areas
- Infernal Hellgates in red and black zones
Revised Outlands
The Outlands, the black zones of Albion and the playground of the GvG continue to be improved in order to be more accessible and interesting for all.
To do this, cities and ports have been removed and access to Outlands is now through a unique portal located in Caerleon. Resources have also undergone some changes:
- Resource distribution has been adjusted.
- Black zones now have higher enchantment rates.
- Tier 8 resources are now available only in watchtower territories!
